Chinese Herbal Medicine uses natural substances to regulate and normalise our body’s processes. The medicine may come in the form of raw herbs (which the patient boils at home, drinking the resulting liquid), powders to be taken as a tea, pills, or other forms suited to external application. There is a long, well-documented history of Chinese Herbal Medicine use for almost every conceivable condition, and it has the potential to induce profound change in many common health conditions, though often long-term ingestion is required.
There are hundreds of different vegetable, mineral and animal substances available for use in Chinese Herbal Medicine, and thousands of possible combinations of these, which allows me to tailor the herbal formula to suit your individual condition. In case you’re wondering, we don’t use any products from protected or threatened species. Please note that costs for herbal medicine are not included in standard consultation fees. They will constitute an extra charge. |
